Deer wandering at two sides of road is a common scene in Wayanad. I heard many times about it before I have gone Wayanad, but I was not convinced till I experienced it. I saw hundreds of deer running and eating grass during to my trip to Thirunelly from Sulthan Bathery. It was an evening time, and amazed by seeing hundreds of deer eating calmly at the road side. When we stopped our car to watch them, they began to run it was not a run, but quick and wide long jumps. I really amazed by seeing it because I never seen directly the deer enjoying the wild life.
